What the new normal means for preschool learning

Offices, schools, and other establishments have been asked to suspend operations to stop the spread of COVID-19. Academic institutions have been doing online learning to try to stick to the academic calendar. How will the new normal impact preschool learning? As the world heals from COVID-19, people will have to stay apart physically but grow closer through innovations. For preschool educators, using conferencing and video platforms will be the new normal. They can communicate with parents and students through Microsoft and Google video conferencing or other platforms with a similar purpose, should schools remain closed come the following academic year. If schools resume, PLAY Preschool believes it is best to work with reduced ratios until it is safe to get back to the status quo.
